Booking direct is simple and transparent. This policy explains every step from request to stay.
1. Booking request
Send your request with dates and number of guests. The host confirms availability, usually the same day, and sends payment instructions. Until then, there is no commitment.
2. Payment
- The full amount is paid upon confirmation.
- Bank transfer: proof of payment must be sent within 48 hours; otherwise the request expires and the dates are released.
- Card: secure online payment when available; the request is held for 30 minutes.
- The booking is confirmed once payment is received, and a confirmation email is sent.
3. Cancellation by the guest
- Up to 30 days before arrival: 90% refund (the remaining 10% covers non-recoverable bank and processing costs).
- 29 to 15 days before arrival: 50% refund.
- Less than 15 days before arrival or no-show: no refund.
- Early departure: unused nights are not refunded.
4. Date changes
Change requests are assessed case by case, subject to availability and any price difference.
5. Cancellation by the property
If Avenida House must cancel due to force majeure, the guest is refunded in full.
6. Tourist tax
The municipal tourist tax, if applicable, is charged per person per night under the municipal regulations, with the exemptions provided therein.
7. Refunds
Refunds are made via the original payment method within 14 days of cancellation.
